Note: Our level rating system is different than Hanayama's. Hanayama's level 1 is equivalent to our level 5.... level 6 is equivalent to our level 10.
The “G clef” and “eighth note” intertwine and give off a beautiful note as if they’re playing music. The design, which does not resemble a puzzle at first glance, is beautiful to the eye as well as fun. A must have if you're a music lover or know someone who is.
Theme: “Playing music”
Designed by Russian Dmitry Pevnitskiy and Kirill Grebnev

Sorry to say this one was not worth it at all. For kids, maybe. Should probably be level 1.
Looks just as pretty in real life as the photo. I got this for my wife's piano student to try. They're smart kids and were all able to solve it in a few/several minutes without getting frustrated. I'd say the difficulty rating is just right. Recommended for kids or those looking for a slight challenge.
The puzzle is rated as a "2" on Hanayama's scale of 1-6, which is pretty accurate. It only took a minute or two to solve, but I can see someone unfamiliar with disentanglements getting stuck, since there's a little trick to it. I enjoyed it, however, and the design is beautiful. I'll probably buy one or two more as gifts (including a music teacher!).
I bought this for my best friend, as she likes music very much. She liked the view of the puzzle, but had difficulties with solving it - it was her first one. I quickly found the correct solution - I had already an idea and had only to find the correct movements. Very interesting puzzle in general.
Looks beautiful, it could be an excellent gift for a musician. It took me about 20 min to solve, but if one turns on the brain immediately, it could be faster. Certainly not viciously difficult.
