If you’re a beginner at this type of puzzle box, this could be a good entry point, albeit at a lower price. If you have done other boxes I would skip this one as a couple of the puzzles are just too easy. Good as a gift for a young person perhaps, or used to house a gift card would be a great use for it.
Second sequential puzzle box we ever did. It looks really good. Unfortunately, I think the craftmanship is a bit lacking. There were two pieces that were supposed to be glued and not move that kept falling off, there is a wooden square piece on the "slider face" that was either not put in properly or rotated during transport which made it impossible to "solve" this face until I solved the final combination in a different way and reverse engineered the whole thing, and the final locking mechanism was way too loose and could open up by accident on the wrong combination. While it was still fun to do and took around the estimated time to solve (about 40 minutes), I think that two of the faces are not relevant to solving the end of the puzzle. The information can be found without following what the company intended. That is a bit disappointing as I see a way that a little change in the design could make it very clever and essential to use all the faces. If you already have all the better puzzle boxex and still ache to own more, then you could buy this one, but it would not be my first recommendation.
