The eighth box in the Puzzle Box series from Siebenstein-Spiele, this box displays an acrylic top that sits on top a nice wooden plate decorated in jigsaw-style pieces. Upon first inspection, it appears that nothing on the box moves or slides at all. Can you puzzle out the mystery of the box?
Made in laser-cut wood and acrylic by Siebenstein-Spiele. Based in Munster, Germany, Siebenstein-Spiele was founded in 1992. Although the company is mainly known for board games, Siebenstein-Spiele also makes many wooden puzzles, several of which have been designed by company founder Jürgen Reiche.

Was quite disappointed with this one. The design and woodwork looks great, but the puzzle itself was quite lame. As I was working through trying to figure out how to open it, I started unscrewing the screws at the bottom with my fingers. From experience there are boxes that sometime require you to do that in order to get to the next step. Well that was a wrong move and the entire box just fell apart. Those things either need to be glued to indicate that they are not meant to be u screwed or the box needs to come with instructions stating that the screws are not meant to be unscrewed. 2 out of 5 on this one.
I don't know if I would say this is a level 8 or not. It didn't take me too long and I actually stumbled upon part of the solution by chance. I received mine with a few screws loose (out of their spots), but it was not part of the solution. Would like to try another one, hopefully one that's a bit more complex.
