By designer Wil Strijbos:

"A company in Switzerland wanted to use my First Cross puzzle as a very special present to some of their customers at the start of 2016. Instead of using my original design from 1979, they asked me to come up with an easier version because they wanted their customers to enjoy it, you understand. So with this challenge in my mind I went to Moscow where I found the inspiration for a new Cross Puzzle. I spent a week with my girlfriend "Sveta" before heading to China to explain the new creation to my product manager and arrange for a prototype, changed a few small details and then organized the production. This Cross is named the Sweta Cross because the order came from Switzerland and I finished the creation at Sveta's place in Moscow. (The "Swiss Flag" is the design that I produced for the Swiss company.  It is an easier version than the edition that I made especially for puzzle collectors.)"

The goal is to take apart and reassemble the parts of the cross.  Not to be confused with the Aluminum Cross that is also designed by Wil Strijbos (and looks very similar) - the internal workings of the Sweta Cross are very different.  This puzzle has four transparent "windows" which allow you to see very small ball bearings that are a part of its inner mechanism.  Made to be a challenge for the more seasoned puzzler, this lovely puzzle also comes engraved with Wil's signature as well as the name of the puzzle.  A wooden display stand (plate) is also included.

Cool puzzle. I'm new to puzzling and found this very easy. I'm still working on learning what the different levels mean. But I'm either very smart(not) or this puzzle should be ranked a bit lower. Even though it was easy, I love how it gets solved.

I'm both happy and a little disappointed with this puzzle. First of all, the puzzle is made very well. It feels really premium and it looks good. That being said, if you have puzzle experience this puzzle will be very easy for you. It took me about 1 minute to disassemble the puzzle. For an experienced puzzler the puzzle is very expensive for the amount of puzzling you get out of it. However, it is easy to forget how many tips and tricks you pick up if you've solved many puzzles. This puzzle is perfect for someone new to the puzzle world. If you have a friend who you want to introduce to puzzling this puzzle is the perfect difficulty. It has enough visible tips to guide someone, but you still have to think about what you need to do. It also would be hard to damage this puzzle (besides scratching the surface). This is great, because it can be a bit scary to give a fragile puzzle to a non-puzzler.
